The Black Competition Bumper Plates (KG) deliver the same craftsmanship and precision as our color-coded Competition Bumper Plates in a matte finish, so you can train with true competition weights in a fully blacked-out setup.
Built for Olympic lifts and high-volume training, they can take repeated drops from overhead or shoulder height. That makes them a fit for cross training boxes, high school and college
weight rooms, and any facility running back-to-back classes on the same set of plates all day. Featuring a low-bounce compound with a reinforced, zinc-coated steel disc insert, they absorb and disperse impact better than standard bumpers. Bold, raised numbering makes each plate's weight easy to read without color, and a raised rubber lip keeps the steel disc insert off the ground — preventing wear and tear on your floor.
Engineered for standard 2" Olympic barbells, every plate holds a strict +/- 10-gram (0.25%) weight tolerance to meet International Weightlifting Federation standards. Each set is built to last, backed by a 5-year warranty and factory-tested to withstand more than 30,000 drops from 8 feet. REP's Competition Bumper Plates (KG) are also available in pounds and the original color-coded finish.
