Coverage and quantity

Each 1m × 0.5m tile covers 0.5m². You need 2 tiles per m², before allowing for cuts. Coverage is calculated from the tile dimensions listed below.

At £35.99 per tile, the equivalent price is £71.98 per m². For example, 10m² requires 20 tiles, costing £719.80 before any additional tiles needed for cuts. These examples use the current tile price; check the selected product price before ordering.

Delivery costs

Orders below £500 are charged £25 in the United Kingdom delivery zone or £35 in the Northern Ireland delivery zone. Both zones offer free delivery on orders of £500 or more. Applicable delivery options and charges are shown at checkout.

FAQs

What's the difference between this tile and the 20mm Konnecta Wood Effect Gym Flooring Mats?

Both are 20mm rubber tiles measuring 1m x 0.5m, with a wood-effect fibre top layer bonded to a recycled rubber base, and both lock together with plastic connectors that sit underneath the tiles, so neither needs glue. This Gymgear tile comes in three colours (Oak, Dark Grey and Light Grey), weighs 8.7kg per tile and is designed for cardio, light weights, PT studios and functional training rather than heavy free-weight areas such as deadlifting or powerlifting zones. The 20mm Konnecta Wood Effect Gym Flooring Mats from Sprung come in two oak shades (Natural Light Oak and Natural Medium Oak), are rated for a maximum weight drop of 140kg, and have matching wood-effect edge ramps and corners available. If you are not sure which suits your space, we can send free samples of both so you can compare the colours side by side.

Which colours is this tile available in, and which one is the oak?

It comes in three finishes: Oak, Dark Grey and Light Grey. Oak is the warmer, brown-toned finish; the other two are grey wood tones. Choose the colour from the options above the Add to cart button.

Can I get a sample before I order?

Yes. We send free samples of any or all three colours. Email info@motionrange.co.uk or call 0333 880 7174 with your delivery address and a contact phone number, and we will post them to you tracked. Samples usually arrive within a couple of days.

Do the tiles come with the interlocking fittings, and do I need to glue them down?

Yes. The tiles use the EasyLock interlocking system: plastic connector blocks are included and clip together securely underneath each tile, so no adhesive and no tools are needed to join them. The tiles are loose-laid directly from wall to wall, including onto a concrete floor.

How do I cut the tiles to fit around walls and edges?

You only need a straight edge (such as a steel ruler) and a sharp Stanley knife or similar utility knife. Use the straight edge to score the tile repeatedly along your cut line, then bend the cut edge apart to separate it cleanly.

How many tiles do I need?

Each 1m x 0.5m tile covers 0.5m², so you need 2 tiles per square metre before allowing for cuts. For example, a 19m² room needs 38 tiles and a 6m x 3m room (18m²) needs 36. Allow a few extra tiles if your room is not a simple rectangle. If you send us your room dimensions we will work out the quantity for you.

Is this tile suitable for a garage or basement home gym, and can I drop weights on it?

It is designed for home and garage gyms, PT studios, cardio zones and functional training with light weights, and it is popular with our home-gym customers. It is not designed for heavy free-weight areas such as deadlifting or powerlifting zones where heavy weights are dropped. If your training involves dropping heavy weights, ask us about our heavier-duty rubber tiles.

How is the flooring delivered, and what does delivery cost?

Delivery is free on orders of £500 or more. Orders below £500 are charged £25 in the UK delivery zone or £35 in the Northern Ireland delivery zone, shown at checkout. Every order is sent tracked and we email you the tracking details as soon as it is dispatched. Larger orders travel on a pallet and the courier will contact you to agree a delivery date, so someone needs to be available to receive and sign for the delivery.
