Collection: Gym Flooring

Gym flooring is the part of a build people think about last and regret first – rubber tiles, turf, sled tracks and lifting platforms that protect what's underneath and hold their shape under load. We choose flooring on density, thickness and edge fit, so it stays flat, cuts noise and takes repeated impact without curling or splitting – ask us for a free sample if you want to see it first, or send us the floor size for a project quote.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best flooring for a home gym?
For most home gyms, interlocking rubber tiles are the practical choice: they protect the floor, absorb impact and cut noise. 20mm tiles suit general training with lighter weights and kettlebells, while 30–40mm tiles are built for free-weight areas where barbells get dropped. If the room is mainly for cardio or studio work, wood effect tiles give a softer look. Browse home and garage gym flooring or all rubber gym tiles.
What is the best thickness for gym flooring?
Choose thickness by what will hit the floor. 15mm suits light weights and kettlebells, 20mm covers general gym and functional areas, and 30mm or 40mm is for free-weight zones where heavier weights are dropped. For a dedicated lifting area, a lifting platform adds further protection. Every thickness we sell is listed in rubber gym flooring tiles.

Can I get a free sample of gym flooring?
Yes. Samples are free, including postage. Email info@motionrange.co.uk or call 0333 880 7174 with the product and colour you are considering and your delivery address, and we will arrange it. Seeing the colour and feeling the surface in your own space is the best way to choose, particularly for wood effect and flecked tiles.
How do you clean rubber gym flooring?
Vacuum regularly to lift grit, then mop with a damp mop and a pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid bleach, acids, solvents, oil-based products and wax cleaners, which can damage rubber. A dedicated product such as Dr Schutz rubber floor cleaner keeps the surface clean without leaving a residue. Wipe up spills of oil promptly, because hydrocarbons can mark the tiles.
Is delivery free on gym flooring?
UK delivery is free on orders over £500. Below that, the delivery charge is shown at checkout before you pay. Delivery times depend on the product and brand and are shown on each product page. If you change your mind, you have 14 days from the day after delivery to tell us; please contact us before sending anything back. See the full gym flooring range.
